A brief chat with our new admin superstar, Briony Lucre.

Firstly, welcome to the team Briony. It’s great to have you on board. For those that don’t know you Briony, tell us a little bit about yourself?

Thank you. I am the mother of an 8 year old German Shepard named Brock. I currently live in Sydney’s south west though, I plan to relocate to the Illawarra in the near future.

So what made you want to join the Adaptive team?

I had been working in the retail industry for 10 years and was looking for a change. Something that was more challenging, that I could make a career out of, and allow me to have more areas to grow and learn. When I heard that Adaptive was looking for an Administration Officer, it sounded like a fantastic opportunity with a great team and room for growth.

What do you like to get up to in your spare time?

I love doing anything crafty and baking. I also enjoy picking a random destination, going for a drive and finding things to explore along the way.

What is your favourite colour?

Blue

What animal would you want to be reincarnated as and why?

I would want to be a dolphin. They’re playful, fun, family orientated and, I love the ocean.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever witnessed?

It’s more the funniest thing I’ve been involved in than witnessed. I was away with my family and friends at a tennis tournament and we were sitting at the courts watching a game of tennis. I had Brock’s leash wrapped around my arm when another dog went running behind us. Brock then took off after the dog, pulling me off my chair and dragging me along the grass after the other dog. It definitely was not funny for me at the time but thinking back to it that would have to the funniest thing.

Thanks for your time Briony and welcome again to the team.
